In the 19th minute Maurício Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustão Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jano Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustão Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The Acaiaca AD supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Iaciara's performance. The match ended with a win for Iaciara.
