Spectators: 7201 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tony Sena started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Mathias Valladares rounded Tocantinense F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. If Tony Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Tocantinense F.C.'s goalkeeper Guga Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jano Lopes. Genílson Madureira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wágner Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Real P.Q.D's Mathias Valladares got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Real P.Q.D's Jano Lopes in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tocantinense F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Jorge Ferraz struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Guga Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real P.Q.D. If Mathias Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 minutes of play, Tocantinense F.C.'s Tony Sena made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dário Quirino was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute, Haroldo Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Tocantinense F.C. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Luís Macedo hit a great ball. If Mathias Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Genílson Madureira got free with Guga Leão in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guga Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jano Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jano Lopes was the one to do the kick off. Carlos Fernando Sousa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Guga Leão. Tocantinense F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ernani Vidal's late challenge caught a Real P.Q.D's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernani Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, Tocantinense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernani Vidal to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Jano Lopes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guga Leão was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After having played for 71 minutes, Isaltino Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real P.Q.D's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaltino Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tony Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dário Quirino having to interfere. Caio Vargas hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Jano Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jano Lopes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guga Leão was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Guga Leão came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Real P.Q.D's Jorge Ferraz. But to his dismay, Jorge Ferraz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 92 minutes into the match, Real P.Q.D's goalkeeper Dário Quirino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Macedo. 94 minutes into the match, Real P.Q.D's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Sena came free, but Dário Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eurico Toscano hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Real P.Q.D walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
