The referee showed Silas Mota the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Yucatan SC's Silas Mota got a free kick in the 4th minute. With his leg André Zanette managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when TATETUBA's Laércio de Senna fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Victor Zanette charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 7th match minute, TATETUBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Zanette to maneuver through the defense. Silas Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Dinei de Amorim struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Wellington Souto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yucatan SC. André Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas de Medeiros in the 30th minute of play. Wellington Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wellington Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Vinhas in the 35th minute of the match. Laércio de Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dinei de Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wellington Souto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Wellington Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 46 played minutes TATETUBA got a freekick which was hit by Victor Zanette. After 48 minutes of play TATETUBA's Victor Zanette was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Victor Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinei de Amorim in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wellington Souto saved TATETUBA from getting behind. André Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laércio de Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 played minutes Yucatan SC got a freekick which was hit by Silas Mota. Laércio de Senna got in the 68th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but André Zanette handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Laércio de Senna made a precise shot to the right of André Zanette. Yucatan SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Laércio de Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. TATETUBA's supporters rose to their feet, but Laércio de Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Zanette breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Yucatan SC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Joélson Donato hit a great ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Laércio de Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TATETUBA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laércio de Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucas de Medeiros might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Zanette. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas de Medeiros ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90thth minute of the game Dinei de Amorim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TATETUBA's Wellington Souto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. André Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio de Senna in the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, TATETUBA's Laércio de Senna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Zanette narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 95 played minutes TATETUBA got a freekick which was hit by Guto Abreu. Laércio de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Yucatan SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for TATETUBA.
