Rafinha Lira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Telmo Castro made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Nosso Time MVO's zone, Rafinha Lira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Castro came out of the goal and Rafinha Lira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the match, Guga Figueiredo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Telmo Castro, 2-0. Geovanni Paes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Falcão's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. If Rodrigo Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Telmo Castro came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by ROTA 66's Rafinha Lira. But to his dismay, Rafinha Lira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 42nd minute, Leandro Falcão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Nosso Time MVO's Leandro Falcão in 47 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Geovanni Paes guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guga Figueiredo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Telmo Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Trancoso in the 52nd minute of play. ROTA 66's Geovanni Paes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save ROTA 66 from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Leandro Falcão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovanni Paes was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Telmo Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guga Figueiredo in the 56th minute of the match. Telmo Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guga Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Leandro Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guga Figueiredo helped the player get up and apologised. Rafinha Lira took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Telmo Castro. Telmo Castro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Nosso Time MVO were furious when Inácio Fantini was red carded, 76 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Telmo Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafinha Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 minutes, Raúl Domingues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nosso Time MVO and the ROTA 66 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Nosso Time MVO getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Raúl Domingues hit a great ball. Rafinha Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Paes having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Nando Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ROTA 66 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
