In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anicuns SC's goalkeeper Wellington Mello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Anicuns SC's Conrado Soeiro got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 13 minutes of play, Tribobo SS's Eusébio Carneiro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wellington Mello was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anicuns SC's Wellington Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo das Neves in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tribobo SS's zone, Conrado Soeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdemar Seco came out of the goal and Conrado Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valdemar Seco made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Ronaldo Tavares sent off a good shot on target. Benjamim Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdemar Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamim Domingues in the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anicuns SC's goalkeeper Wellington Mello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manfredo das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Mello having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Laércio Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamim Domingues in the 32nd minute of play forced Tribobo SS's goalkeeper Valdemar Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tribobo SS's Manfredo das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Benjamim Domingues reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valdemar Seco. The goal made the score 1-1. Manfredo das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Wellington Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusébio Carneiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Wellington Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Carneiro in the 52nd minute of play. If Benjamim Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Anicuns SC's Wellington Mello got control of the ball when Manfredo das Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 59 minutes, Eusébio Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tribobo SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Carneiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 71 played minutes Anicuns SC got a freekick which was hit by Dário Garcia. Manfredo das Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wellington Mello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Valdemar Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Breno Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Ronaldo Tavares struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Valdemar Seco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anicuns SC. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
