Luiz Paulo Trancoso kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute of the match Agostinho da Costa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maurinho do Valle showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ityrapina SS's Waldir Nóbrega got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldir Nóbrega during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clóvis Amorim's late challenge caught a Ityrapina SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clóvis Amorim helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ityrapina SS booed when Ceifadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clóvis Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute Christiano Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ceifadores getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Betinho Sousa hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ceifadores's zone, Waldir Nóbrega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurinho do Valle came out of the goal and Waldir Nóbrega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christiano Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho do Valle having to interfere. Waldir Nóbrega's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurinho do Valle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. If Waldir Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dedé Penha during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Ceifadores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedé Penha to maneuver through the defense. Waldir Nóbrega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Waldir Nóbrega made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Ityrapina SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murillo Terra to maneuver through the defense. Luís Fábio Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murilo da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Ityrapina SS's goal looked a bit too open when Clóvis Amorim came free, but Luís Fábio Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ceifadores booed when Ityrapina SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Ceifadores's Maurinho do Valle got control of the ball when Waldir Nóbrega tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maurinho do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiano Couto in the 67th minute of the match. Maurinho do Valle made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Waldir Nóbrega sent off a good shot on target. Júlio Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 72 played minutes Ityrapina SS got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Figueiredo. Edmílson Barbosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Fábio Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. A hard shot 80 in the game by Júlio Figueiredo from a close distance when the talented Maurinho do Valle managed to make a qualified save. Ceifadores's players were relieved. Ityrapina SS were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Ceifadores's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Agostinho da Costa took the corner. The corner led to Ityrapina SS's Christiano Couto getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Júlio Figueiredo might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurinho do Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Júlio Figueiredo ran back to his position shaking his head. Júlio Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho do Valle having to interfere. Ityrapina SS's Luís Fábio Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Catarinense in the 92nd minute of play. If Júlio Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Ityrapina SS's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Catarinense came free, but Luís Fábio Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ityrapina SS were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
