After some careless play in the Miritituba FC defense, Humberto Dante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nando Almeida. The Miritituba FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nando Almeida should have stopped the shot. After having played for 19 minutes, Luizão Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Firelink Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luizão Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Firelink Team's Humberto Dante sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nando Almeida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucas Freire made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Alexsandro Freire sent off a good shot on target. Humberto Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. In the 40th match minute, Miritituba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheus Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Firelink Team were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Enio Abraão made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Miritituba FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Adrianinho Cardoso hit a great ball. Lucas Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Seco in the 55th minute of play. Diamantino Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Freire having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Miritituba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luizão Andrade came free, but Nando Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enio Abraão charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enio Abraão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Miritituba FC's Nando Almeida got control of the ball when Luizão Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Miritituba FC's goalkeeper Nando Almeida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luizão Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nando Almeida having to make a save. 77 minutes into the match, Luizão Andrade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nando Almeida. Miritituba FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luizão Andrade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Lucas Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Miritituba FC's Diamantino Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucas Freire narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Humberto Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Washington Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Firelink Team could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Miritituba FC throughout the match.
