Jeferson Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Betinho Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Clóvis Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes Ceifadores got a freekick which was hit by Clóvis Amorim. Maurinho do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betinho Mineiro in the 22nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fábio Rezende during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luiz Fábio Rezende hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. When Tsunamy's Jeferson Trancoso in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tsunamy's players were relieved. After 44 minutes of play, Tsunamy's Jeferson Trancoso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurinho do Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jeferson Trancoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurinho do Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeferson Trancoso ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 52nd play minute Betinho Mineiro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Maurinho do Valle. 0-2. In the 58th minute, Ronaldinho Mattos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lino Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Luiz Guilherme Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceifadores's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Guilherme Pombal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony Rosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute Jeferson Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Betinho Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Maurinho do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes in the game, Jeferson Trancoso fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maurinho do Valle having to interfere. Ceifadores's Lino Catarinense got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ceifadores's Maurinho do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeferson Trancoso in the 91st minute of play. Jeferson Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho do Valle having to interfere.
