Serginho Marinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rômulo Montenegro in the 13th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kléber Urbano during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Serginho Marinho acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gabriel de Almeida. Domenico Patout stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Queirós's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Ricardinho Macedo charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardinho Macedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Ricardinho Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Conrado Rezende to strike the kick off in the second half. Rômulo Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Marinho having to interfere. When Erik Soares came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Izumi F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Soares couldn't finish the play. Domenico Patout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FCSB São Bernado SP getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Dalmo Vieira hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Rômulo Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serginho Marinho. Izumi F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rômulo Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Conrado Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conrado Rezende might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serginho Marinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conrado Rezende ran back to his position shaking his head. When Gabriel Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Izumi F.C.'s protests and gave Gabriel Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Izumi F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! The referee gave FCSB São Bernado SP a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gabriel de Almeida, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Izumi F.C.'s Serginho Marinho. 3-0. A collision led to Izumi F.C. getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Kléber Urbano hit a great ball. Serginho Marinho came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by FCSB São Bernado SP's Conrado Rezende. But to his dismay, Conrado Rezende quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 92nd minute of the match, Fernando Queirós tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Domenico Patout saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Izumi F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
