Matías Sarmento's late challenge caught a Caiua Dinosaurs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matías Sarmento helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Mount Stones's zone, Durval Paraense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simão de Souza came out of the goal and Durval Paraense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cícero da Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cícero da Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cícero da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Simão de Souza came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Caiua Dinosaurs's Fred Pernambucano. But to his dismay, Fred Pernambucano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fred Pernambucano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simão de Souza having to make a save. A collision led to Caiua Dinosaurs getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Sandro Koehler hit a great ball. In the 22nd match minute, Mount Stones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cícero da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Fred Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fred Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ciro Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Pedro Luís Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Matías Sarmento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mount Stones's supporters rose to their feet, but Matías Sarmento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luís Koehler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matías Sarmento in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Luís Koehler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by César Bastos during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 48th minute Mount Stones were awarded a corner. William Quintal went to the cornerflag to take it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matías Sarmento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Simão de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Matías Sarmento made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Luís Koehler. Caiua Dinosaurs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Mount Stones's Cícero da Silveira got a free kick in the 58th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Ciro Pena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Luís Koehler. Caiua Dinosaurs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciro Pena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Fred Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Simão de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Mount Stones's Simão de Souza got control of the ball when Durval Paraense tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Luís Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Pena in the 81st minute of play. In the 87th minute, Fred Pernambucano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Luís Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Caiua Dinosaurs's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
