After a defensive mix-up in Caputera's zone, João Vítor Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermínio de Alcântara came out of the goal and João Vítor Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 35 minutes, Hudson Batista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caputera and the EMAD F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. If João Vítor Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when João Vítor Bueno made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Caputera booed when EMAD F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Gabriel Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robinho Schmidt in the 59th minute of play forced Caputera's goalkeeper Hermínio de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caputera's Hermínio de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Cunha in the 61st minute of play. Hortêncio Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Linares in the 63rd minute of play. João Vítor Bueno scored 3-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hermínio de Alcântara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hortêncio Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Linares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. EMAD F.C's João Vítor Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredo Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. In the 90th match minute, Caputera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hudson Batista to maneuver through the defense. In the 94thth minute of the game Cipriano Oliveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caputera's Hermínio de Alcântara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Vítor Bueno in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermínio de Alcântara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reinaldo Pires during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hermínio de Alcântara came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by EMAD F.C's Robinho Schmidt. But to his dismay, Robinho Schmidt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1.
