Hortêncio da Rocha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Durvalino Mangueira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Armatys to make the kick off. Hortêncio da Rocha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Durvalino Mangueira went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The Bairrinho SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donato Garcia should have stopped the shot. After 84 played minutes EC Guará - FPEMZ got a freekick which was hit by Cido Favoretto. Alex Armatys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Donato Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Torgeir Lie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alex Armatys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
