José Pedro Ceresso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé de Almeida went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 26th minute, Tales Lara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Róbson Barreto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. If Ezequiel Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Pedro Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Nogueira in the 46th minute of the match. A hard shot by Alexandre Carvalho from long distance, 48 minutes into the match, got José Pedro Ceresso's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tales Lara in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Róbson Barreto saved Prego from getting behind. Ezequiel Nogueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Pedro Ceresso having to make a save. Prego walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
