After a defensive mix-up in Caviuna EC's zone, Edinho Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cauã Braga came out of the goal and Edinho Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgar Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Silveira couldn't finish the play. Edinho Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Braga having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Edgar Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cauã Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Silveira in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cauã Braga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Shanna ARND S.C. were the better team. Shanna ARND S.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
