Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edgar Silveira started the match with the kick off. Ezequiel Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 5 minutes, Edgar Silveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shanna ARND S.C. and the Prego players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Shanna ARND S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Silveira in the 12th minute of play forced Prego's goalkeeper Róbson Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Nogueira in the 16th minute of play forced Shanna ARND S.C.'s goalkeeper Frank Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dedê de Brito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Frank Bezerra made a huge save. In the 20th match minute, Shanna ARND S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luiz Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. Ezequiel Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Bezerra having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Frank Bezerra successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edinho Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Silveira scored 0-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Róbson Barreto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Shanna ARND S.C.'s Frank Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Nogueira in the 45th minute of play. Zé de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ezequiel Nogueira to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Prego were awarded a corner. Luiz Fábio Lago went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 56th minute of the match Prego got a corner. Shanna ARND S.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luiz Fábio Lago ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zé de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Edinho Hoffmann came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Shanna ARND S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edinho Hoffmann couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgar Silveira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Róbson Barreto. That made the score 0-2 in the 66 minute of play. After 74 minutes, Alexandre Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prego and the Shanna ARND S.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zé de Almeida struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Frank Bezerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prego. After a rather tough play, Shanna ARND S.C.'s Júlio Ramos got a free kick in the 80th minute. Zé de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dedê de Brito hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Edgar Silveira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Róbson Barreto came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgar Silveira slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 89th minute. Edgar Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
