With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlinhos Silveira in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cauã Braga saved Caviuna EC from getting behind. If Renato Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlinhos Silveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cauã Braga having to make a save. 46 minutes into the game, Olaria MZ's Carlinhos Silveira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cauã Braga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldo Donato made a kick off. If Renato Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, João Francisco Barral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Olaria MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Rosa came free, but Mauro Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Elói Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Osvaldo Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Caviuna EC's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Donato came free, but Cauã Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Francisco Barral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Francisco Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Fantini having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Rosa in the 92nd minute of play forced Olaria MZ's goalkeeper Mauro Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Caviuna EC's João Francisco Barral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauro Fantini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Olaria MZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
