Róbson Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Trevisan in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Paulão Trevisan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sete Pecados Capitais fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Yuri Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé de Almeida got free with Ediberto Paraibano in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lino Amorim scored 1-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Róbson Barreto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Prego:s Róbson Barreto showed great skill when he stopped Humberto Secco:s penalty. 38 minutes into the game, Sete Pecados Capitais's Humberto Secco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Róbson Barreto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Ediberto Paraibano made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Zé de Almeida sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Sete Pecados Capitais were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lino Amorim to strike the kick off in the second half. Róbson Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Paulão Trevisan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
