Mauro Fantini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emerson Guedes in the 51st minute. When Tomás Aguiar fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Penedia SS's protests and gave Tomás Aguiar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Tomás Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro Fantini stood somewhat misplaced when Emerson Guedes came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 83 minute. 87 minutes into the match, Olaria MZ's goalkeeper Mauro Fantini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emerson Guedes. Penedia SS's Jefferson Cosme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Donato in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Neiva in the 92nd minute of play forced Olaria MZ's goalkeeper Mauro Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlinhos Silveira in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jefferson Cosme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle sounded Penedia SS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Olaria MZ.
