The supporters of Shanna ARND S.C. booed when Sete Pecados Capitais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shanna ARND S.C.'s Edgar Silveira managed to work through Sete Pecados Capitais's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Edgar Silveira dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 8th minute Edgar Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ediberto Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Humberto Secco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sete Pecados Capitais's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shanna ARND S.C. the free kick. In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Shanna ARND S.C.. Silvério Luz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ediberto Paraibano. 1-0. Ediberto Paraibano made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Edinho Hoffmann sent off a good shot on target. After 22 minutes of play, Sete Pecados Capitais's Paulão Trevisan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frank Bezerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ediberto Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Silveira in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Yuri Maia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Silveira couldn't finish the play. Frank Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ediberto Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Silveira in the 42nd minute of the match. Ediberto Paraibano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Ediberto Paraibano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edinho Hoffmann in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 59 played minutes, Shanna ARND S.C.'s Válter Gonçalves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ediberto Paraibano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Shanna ARND S.C. reached it. Edinho Hoffmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ediberto Paraibano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edinho Hoffmann ran back to his position shaking his head. Ediberto Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edinho Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ediberto Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edinho Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Shanna ARND S.C. players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
