An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês Cordeiro in the 17th minute of play forced Hoppe FC's goalkeeper Tomé Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juarês Cordeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomé Paraíba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Tomé Paraíba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juarês Cordeiro went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cardozo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juarês Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Renato Quirino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antônio Carlos da Silva went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hoppe FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! Tomé Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês Cordeiro in the 75th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Hoppe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juarês Cordeiro came free, but Tomé Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
