Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edgar Silveira started the match with the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Zé Augusto Valladares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edinho Hoffmann came free with the goalkeeper in the 5th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zé Augusto Valladares could save by the left post. In the 9th match minute, Shanna ARND S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laerte Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. Júlio Ramos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Augusto Valladares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Curupira's Zé Augusto Valladares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Curupira from getting a goal against them. When Wilson Cavalcante fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shanna ARND S.C.'s protests and gave Wilson Cavalcante a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Shanna ARND S.C.! 31 minutes into the game, Luiz Fábio Alves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curupira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shanna ARND S.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Curupira's Luiz Fábio Alves got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jano Cardozo in the 34th minute of play forced Shanna ARND S.C.'s goalkeeper Frank Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shanna ARND S.C.'s Edinho Hoffmann got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Laerte Sarmento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zé Augusto Valladares. The goal made the score 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júlio Ramos during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Shanna ARND S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Ramos to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Chiquinho Azevedo made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, José Maria Antunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curupira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shanna ARND S.C. the free kick. The supporters of Shanna ARND S.C. booed when Curupira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Maria Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Júlio Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Curupira's Zé Augusto Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Silveira in the 58th minute of play. Edgar Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Augusto Valladares having to interfere. In the 64th minute Edgar Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Augusto Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Curupira's Zé Augusto Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinho Hoffmann in the 67th minute of play. Zé Augusto Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Silveira in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Ramos in the 71st minute of play forced Curupira's goalkeeper Zé Augusto Valladares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Edinho Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute Edinho Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Augusto Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Augusto Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Júlio Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Edinho Hoffmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shanna ARND S.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Edinho Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Zé Augusto Valladares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Edinho Hoffmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Zé Augusto Valladares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zé Augusto Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Shanna ARND S.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
