In the 13th minute, Paulão Trevisan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clube Atlético dos Craque's José Pedro Ceresso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Clube Atlético dos Craque from getting a goal against them. Lino da Rocha scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ediberto Paraibano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Tales Lara came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Clube Atlético dos Craque fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tales Lara couldn't finish the play. Sete Pecados Capitais's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Lino Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Pedro Ceresso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Amorim's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute Lino da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ediberto Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ediberto Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tales Lara in the 47th minute of play.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulão Trevisan in the 53rd minute of play forced Clube Atlético dos Craque's goalkeeper José Pedro Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55thth minute of the game Paulão Trevisan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube Atlético dos Craque's José Pedro Ceresso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ediberto Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tales Lara in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Sete Pecados Capitais booed when Clube Atlético dos Craque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino da Rocha got free with Ediberto Paraibano in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute, Lino da Rocha fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ediberto Paraibano, passed just outside the right post. Humberto Secco hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Jorginho de Souza took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ediberto Paraibano. Ediberto Paraibano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Rogério Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Clube Atlético dos Craque supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Clube Atlético dos Craque would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
