Cauã Braga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Benedito Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Ulisses de Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Swat do bairro's attentive Luiz Guilherme Martins managed to snatch the ball when Thomás Velasco made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. Caviuna EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Luiz Guilherme Martins scored to the left of an out of position Cauã Braga, making the score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedito Romero got free with Cauã Braga in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ediberto Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Benedito Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ulisses de Sena came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Swat do bairro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulisses de Sena couldn't finish the play. Swat do bairro's Benedito Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when João Francisco Barral made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Swat do bairro's Benedito Romero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cauã Braga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Barral in the 61st minute of play forced Swat do bairro's goalkeeper Ediberto Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedito Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Braga having to interfere. Cauã Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Benedito Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cauã Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulisses de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedito Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Braga having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedito Romero during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Swat do bairro's Benedito Romero got a free kick in the 84th minute. João Francisco Barral hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Benedito Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Braga having to interfere. Elói Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Benedito Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, one of Swat do bairro:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Swat do bairro. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Caviuna EC. Ademir Tróia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ediberto Duarte. 4-1. Swat do bairro's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
