Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Antônio Carlos da Silva kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Caviuna EC's Jardel Freitas got a free kick in the 4th minute. Nicolas Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Cauã Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Loureiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Cauã Braga made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Caviuna EC's zone, Nicolas Loureiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cauã Braga came out of the goal and Nicolas Loureiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hoppe FC's Nicolas Loureiro got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Renato Rosa scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomé Paraíba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, João Francisco Barral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomé Paraíba was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Cauã Braga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 46th minute, Antônio Carlos da Silva fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Caviuna EC's Cauã Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos da Silva in the 52nd minute of play. Cauã Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Antônio Carlos da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Nicolas Loureiro notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Caviuna EC's Cauã Braga. Cauã Braga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Antônio Carlos da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Nicolas Loureiro made a precise shot to the right of Cauã Braga. Caviuna EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 73rd minute, Nicolas Loureiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hoppe FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. When Caviuna EC's João Francisco Barral in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hoppe FC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Hoppe FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Raí Bezerra hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Renato Rosa notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Hoppe FC's Tomé Paraíba. Tomé Paraíba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 89 minutes into the match, Caviuna EC's João Francisco Barral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomé Paraíba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
