Gilvan Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Rezende having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaltino Dias got free with Tadeu de Barros in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, Araça F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gilvan Abraão came free, but Alex Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilvan Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaltino Dias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadeu de Barros having to make a save. 28 minutes into the match, Isaltino Dias notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Inesopolis's Tadeu de Barros. Tadeu de Barros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Ismael Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Reynaldo Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luiz Guilherme Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Araça F.C.'s Alex Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilvan Abraão in the 39th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ismael Dias to make the kick off. Inesopolis's Gilvan Abraão got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Inesopolis's Luiz Guilherme Soeiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alex Rezende. That made the score 1-1 after 60 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Inesopolis's zone, Ismael Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeu de Barros came out of the goal and Ismael Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luiz Guilherme Soeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alex Rezende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Dias in the 89th minute of play forced Inesopolis's goalkeeper Tadeu de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd play minute Gilvan Abraão came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alex Rezende. 1-2. Araça F.C.'s Alex Rezende proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Araça F.C. from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Inesopolis could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Araça F.C. throughout the match.
