Charles Quintal came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by ArauCity Atletic Club's Guilherme Andrade. But to his dismay, Guilherme Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Wágner Cruz made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Claudinho Veloso sent off a good shot on target. If Guilherme Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wágner Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luizinho Paulista in the 31st minute. Guilherme Andrade scored 0-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charles Quintal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Guilherme Andrade put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Charles Quintal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guilherme Andrade in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charles Quintal saved Guarakessaba AD from getting behind. The Guarakessaba AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ArauCity Atletic Club were winning 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guilherme Andrade to strike the kick off in the second half. Luizinho Paulista took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wágner Cruz. Wágner Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guilherme Andrade in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charles Quintal saved Guarakessaba AD from getting behind. Wágner Cruz came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Guarakessaba AD's Doni Donato. But to his dismay, Doni Donato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. After a rather tough play, Guarakessaba AD's Luisinho Maciel got a free kick in the 65th minute. Charles Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Andrade in the 66th minute of the match. Charles Quintal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guilherme Andrade in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Luizinho Paulista notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of ArauCity Atletic Club's Wágner Cruz. Wágner Cruz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wágner Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luizinho Paulista went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-4 was the resulting score. In the 79th minute, Aníbal Negri fired a really elegant long shot, but Charles Quintal threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. In the 80th minute, Guilherme Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charles Quintal was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-5. After a rather tough play, Guarakessaba AD's Léo Brodel got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, ArauCity Atletic Club's goal looked a bit too open when Luizinho Paulista came free, but Wágner Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, 江奕海 took a quick shot and it went in 5-6 without a chance for Charles Quintal to make any attempt to save it. Guilherme Andrade in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Charles Quintal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 92 minutes into the match, ArauCity Atletic Club's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Donato came free, but Wágner Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Luizinho Paulista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wágner Cruz. ArauCity Atletic Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luizinho Paulista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-6. After 97 played minutes Guarakessaba AD got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Maciel. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
