Spectators: 7212 (Terracing: 5410, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Eusébio Baiano started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Catole's Eusébio Baiano got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Gilson Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 10 minutes, Faustão Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Mala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustão Batista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haroldo Coelho in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mané de Andrade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mané de Andrade didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Araújo went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Haroldo Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 21 minutes, Arí Brito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catole and the FC Mala players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Arí Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvaldinho do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Baiano in the 23rd minute of the match. Haroldo Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arí Brito got free with Osvaldinho do Vale in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eusébio Baiano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osvaldinho do Vale having to make a save. Diego Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Coelho in the 31st minute of play forced Catole's goalkeeper Mané de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Faustão Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 43 minutes of play, FC Mala's Haroldo Coelho made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mané de Andrade was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute, Arí Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Haroldo Coelho to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute FC Mala were awarded a corner. Haroldo Coelho went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Catole getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Váldson Sabóia hit a great ball. Arí Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Faustão Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th match minute, Catole was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilson Pena to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Mala booed when Catole was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natã de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Haroldo Coelho came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the FC Mala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Coelho couldn't finish the play. Faustão Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arí Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Osvaldinho do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haroldo Coelho had several of the Catole's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Mané de Andrade as he didn't even see the shot coming. A hard shot 83 in the game by Haroldo Coelho from a close distance when the talented Mané de Andrade managed to make a qualified save. Catole's players were relieved. Arí Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duarte Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. FC Mala's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
