Tradição Futebol Clube's Telmo Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Maria Simões in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Tradição Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when José Maria Simões came free, but Telmo Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guilherme Zanette got free with Telmo Leal in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guilherme Zanette struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Telmo Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for XURUPITAS AFC. Telmo Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Maria Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Guilherme Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. XURUPITAS AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guilherme Zanette was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Telmo Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maria Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tradição Futebol Clube's Michel Domingues in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Maria Simões in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Telmo Leal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, XURUPITAS AFC's Faustão Hermes got a free kick in the 37th minute. Luizão Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Queirós having to interfere. Telmo Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Maria Simões in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michel Domingues was the one to do the kick off. Telmo Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Maria Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Faustão Hermes charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faustão Hermes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cafu Queirós made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Luizão Batista sent off a good shot on target. Luizão Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Cafu Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustão Hermes hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, XURUPITAS AFC's José Maria Simões sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Telmo Leal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Telmo Leal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guilherme Zanette's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Guilherme Zanette took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Telmo Leal. Telmo Leal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. José Maria Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Cabral hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 84 minutes of play, XURUPITAS AFC's José Maria Simões made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Telmo Leal was left in no man's land by his defense there! 3-0 became the score in the 90th minute when Guilherme Zanette elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jairo Cabral during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 played minutes Tradição Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Cabral. Telmo Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Michel Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Queirós having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The XURUPITAS AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tradição Futebol Clube had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
