He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Luís Fábio Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesinha Leme in the 43rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Marquinhos Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. RafaelAndersonWagner FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marquinhos Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fábio Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
