A collision led to Cantori getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Rafinha Lima hit a great ball. Luís Fábio Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheus Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thiago Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Thiago Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Cantori's Edmundo Gerber tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Coxilha FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Rodrigo Cavalcante hit a great ball. Matheus Cordeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Fábio Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Luís Fábio Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Gonçalves in the 34th minute of play. If Ricardinho Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Cantori's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus Cordeiro came free, but Luís Fábio Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 59th minute, Anísio Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Coxilha FC's Matheus Cordeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Fábio Souza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlos Tróia charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Coxilha FC's Aloísio Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Ortiz in the 81st minute of play. Ricardinho Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matheus Cordeiro in the 86th minute of play forced Cantori's goalkeeper Luís Fábio Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matheus Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fábio Souza having to interfere. Ricardinho Gonçalves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Luís Fábio Souza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
