Adrianinho Mangueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Gomes in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Team Guaxi's Telmo Domingues got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute Patrick Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianinho Mangueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Team Guaxi getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Telmo Domingues hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick Quintal in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrianinho Mangueira saved Team Guaxi from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Duarte in the 32nd minute of play forced Team Guaxi's goalkeeper Adrianinho Mangueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Uberaba SC booed when Team Guaxi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vânderson Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Telmo Domingues's late challenge caught a Uberaba SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrianinho Mangueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Eduardo Duarte in the 97th minute of the match. Uberaba SC played a much better game than Team Guaxi and deserved their victory. The Team Guaxi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
