The Amana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that César Varela should have stopped the shot. Cleiton Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredinho Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. César Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Amana booed when C.A. Juventus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 15 minutes, Orlando Siqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 38th minute of the match C.A. Juventus got a corner. Amana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Remo Marquez ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led C.A. Juventus's Alfredinho Borges to a score. 1-2 in the 38th minute. The long shot by Vinícius Sergipano in the 41st minute really tested Nicolas Guimarães's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 42 minutes, Luiz Fernando da Mata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Juventus and the Amana players grew even worse after the yellow card.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredinho Borges made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilvan Bertassi during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Amana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilvan Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Délio Dantas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of César Varela. The goal made the score 1-3. After having played for 64 minutes, Cleiton Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-3 in the 68th minute. If Inácio Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Alfredinho Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Juventus's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredinho Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. César Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cleiton Domingues got free with César Varela in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. C.A. Juventus's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Remo Marquez in the 76th minute. A nice corner shot did that Remo Marquez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this César Varela quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the Amana defense, Cleiton Domingues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of César Varela. The Amana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that César Varela should have stopped the shot. Nicolas Guimarães came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Amana's Gilvan Bertassi. But to his dismay, Gilvan Bertassi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. If Cleiton Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.A. Juventus were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Amana to leave the ground with a draw.
