Hortêncio Ortiz hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Laranjal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Cruz came free, but Emerson Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ricardinho Batista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emerson Matorin was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 88th minute, INTER FC's Luiz Eduardo Cardozo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emerson Matorin. Emerson Matorin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. INTER FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
