Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sérgio Figueiredo got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Sérgio Figueiredo made a precise shot to the right of José Paulo Prata. Sporting Malvinas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 11thth minute of the game Nilton Sampaio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caicarinha's Tostão Vander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Caicarinha's goalkeeper Tostão Vander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Fernando Barreto. Tostão Vander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afonso Santos's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. If Luís Fernando Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jardel Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caicarinha's Tostão Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton Sampaio in the 20th minute of play. Luís Fernando Barreto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Tostão Vander skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 25 minutes of play, Sporting Malvinas's Júlio Antunes made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tostão Vander was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raúl Baiano's late challenge caught a Sporting Malvinas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raúl Baiano helped the player get up and apologised. Raúl Baiano hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 32nd match minute, Sporting Malvinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Perez to maneuver through the defense. José Paulo Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Afonso Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caicarinha's Tostão Vander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tostão Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Santos in the 42nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Nilton Sampaio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tostão Vander was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. After 46 minutes, Luiz Fernando Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caicarinha and the Sporting Malvinas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luiz Fernando Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Nilton Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When Raúl Baiano was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 51 minutes had been played. Raúl Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Nilton Sampaio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tostão Vander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Antunes in the 55th minute of play forced Caicarinha's goalkeeper Tostão Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tostão Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th match minute, Caicarinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Caicarinha's Dé Vaz got a free kick in the 58th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Caicarinha's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Santos came free, but Tostão Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Caicarinha defense, Luís Fernando Barreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tostão Vander. The Caicarinha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tostão Vander should have stopped the shot. Luís Fernando Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tostão Vander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Luís Fernando Barreto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Malvinas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caicarinha the free kick. In the 71st minute, Luís Fernando Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute Afonso Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tostão Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77thth minute of the game Afonso Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caicarinha's Tostão Vander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcelo Brito took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for José Paulo Prata. Sporting Malvinas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Jonas Netto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Sporting Malvinas's Afonso Santos in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
