After having played for 15 minutes, Luís Fernando Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veneza SC's Luisinho de Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Veneza SC from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute, Sporting Malvinas's Nilton Sampaio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luisinho de Brito. Luisinho de Brito yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. After a rather tough play, Sporting Malvinas's Jonas Netto got a free kick in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Castro in the 38th minute of play forced Sporting Malvinas's goalkeeper José Paulo Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Vladimir Castro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of José Paulo Prata. The goal made the score 4-2. Afonso Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonso Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimir Castro in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Paulo Prata saved Sporting Malvinas from getting behind. Luís Fernando Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Paulo Prata having to interfere.
