Eriberto Vieira came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Goianésia E.C's Yan Secco. But to his dismay, Yan Secco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Cícero Nunes hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Coco AD's Eriberto Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Penha in the 8th minute of play. Eriberto Vieira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabi Gol in the 14th minute. Raí Castro hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Dênis Siqueira's late challenge caught a Goianésia E.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dênis Siqueira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute, Dênis Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Coco AD's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Penha came free, but Eriberto Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabi Gol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Eriberto Vieira made a huge save. With a little luck, Coco AD's Eriberto Vieira got control of the ball when Gabi Gol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Coco AD's Eriberto Vieira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Coco AD from getting a goal against them. Eriberto Vieira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fred Penha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 32 minute of play. In the 35th minute, Gabi Gol reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eriberto Vieira. The goal made the score 5-0. Eriberto Vieira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from João Trigo. With a little luck, Coco AD's Eriberto Vieira got control of the ball when Gabi Gol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabi Gol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Eriberto Vieira made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabi Gol was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Gabi Gol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goianésia E.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Penha in the 56th minute of play forced Coco AD's goalkeeper Eriberto Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabi Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the game, Gabi Gol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Eriberto Vieira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eriberto Vieira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabi Gol's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Coco AD's Matheus Falcão got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 71 minutes, Gabi Gol made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. Coco AD's Eriberto Vieira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Secco in the 76th minute of play forced Coco AD's goalkeeper Eriberto Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aírton Lucas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Norbert Balonek firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Goianésia E.C getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Iggor Koehler hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the game, Fred Penha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Eriberto Vieira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 96 minutes into the game, Raí Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coco AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goianésia E.C the free kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Goianésia E.C had played much better football throughout.
