Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nildo Brodel kicked off to start the match. Hernani Tasso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeu Rodrigues in the 6th minute. Hernani Tasso made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Amadeu Rodrigues sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Pubas booed when Rocheira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agostinho Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Pubas's Dedé Falcão fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 12th minute, Nildo Brodel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro da Mata was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With an all-out effort, Pubas's Hernani Tasso threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dedé Falcão, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luan Gerber hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Amadeu Rodrigues had several of the Rocheira's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Hernani Tasso as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Nildo Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rocheira's Nildo Brodel in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pubas's goalie prevented a goal. Mauro da Mata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nildo Brodel's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Amadeu Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Tasso having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Agostinho Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Dedé Falcão took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Hernani Tasso to make any attempt to save it. Nildo Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Mauro da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliézer Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Amadeu Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Hernani Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Rocheira's goal looked a bit too open when Dedé Falcão came free, but Hernani Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

55 minutes into the game, Amadeu Rodrigues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Hernani Tasso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hernani Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Amílton Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Tasso having to interfere. Hernani Tasso came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pubas's Dedé Falcão. But to his dismay, Dedé Falcão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. When Dedé Falcão came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Pubas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedé Falcão couldn't finish the play. Pubas's Mauro da Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nildo Brodel in the 76th minute of play. Hernani Tasso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dedé Falcão's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Hernani Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Pubas's Amadeu Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amadeu Rodrigues blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernani Tasso having to make a save. After some careless play in the Rocheira defense, Dedé Falcão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernani Tasso. The Rocheira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernani Tasso should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute, Eliézer Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeu Rodrigues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hernani Tasso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
