Rocheira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adan Burutzagi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nildo Brodel in the 17th minute of play forced Timbu EC's goalkeeper Raimundo Miliano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Rocheira's Nildo Brodel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the game, Timbu EC's Durvalino Tepedino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hernani Tasso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Timbu EC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
