Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1700, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eliseu Guerra took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, PALMEIRAS FC's Gilvan Guimarães got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Gustavo Paraíba lost his temper 6 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 6th minute, one of Natingui FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Natingui FC. With a little luck, Natingui FC's Alisson Taffarel got control of the ball when Lennert Agnholt tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Gilvan Guimarães in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Natingui FC's José Branco. José Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Alisson Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Pedro Brasil in the 27th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Lennert Agnholt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alisson Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to PALMEIRAS FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gilvan Guimarães hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Natingui FC's goalkeeper Alisson Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murilo de Mendonça. Lennert Agnholts short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Alisson Taffarel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Daniel Filipowski took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alisson Taffarel. Alisson Taffarel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Pedro Brasil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alisson Taffarel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Pedro Brasil went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Natingui FC's Luisinho Cordeiro was substituted for Manuel das Neves. A collision led to Natingui FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jean Peixoto hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, José Pedro Brasil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alisson Taffarel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. If Lennert Agnholt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute PALMEIRAS FC were awarded a corner. Murilo de Mendonça went to the cornerflag to take it. Natingui FC's Jonas Fantini managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Natanael Sá in the 70 minute of the game. After 71 minutes of play, PALMEIRAS FC's José Pedro Brasil made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alisson Taffarel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luisinho Cordeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luisinho Cordeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Natingui FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Luisinho Cordeiro hit a great ball. Alisson Taffarel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lennert Agnholt went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Radowit Cwynar charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radowit Cwynar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of PALMEIRAS FC booed when Natingui FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radowit Cwynar didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Åkerström in the 79th minute of play forced Natingui FC's goalkeeper Alisson Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes Natingui FC got a freekick which was hit by Jean Peixoto. Eliseu Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Alisson Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murilo de Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, José Pedro Brasil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leopoldo Vallejos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Cordeiro in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Pedro Brasil in the 92nd minute of play forced Natingui FC's goalkeeper Alisson Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, José Pedro Brasil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PALMEIRAS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Luisinho Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Pedro Brasil in the 98th minute of play forced Natingui FC's goalkeeper Alisson Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PALMEIRAS FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
