Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when José Paulo Fernandes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Virgílio Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lauro do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Gabriel Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Fernandes in the 11th minute of play forced Tamboral's goalkeeper Gustavo Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodriguinho Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Gustavo Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If José Paulo Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hortêncio Carvalho hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. José Paulo Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Gustavo Carioca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dark Dragons. When José Paulo Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Dark Dragons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Paulo Fernandes couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the game, Dito de Salles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tamboral's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dark Dragons the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Tamboral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dito de Salles to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Tamboral's zone, José Paulo Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Carioca came out of the goal and José Paulo Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dark Dragons's Felipe Pires proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Dark Dragons from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute of the match, Lauro do Vale tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Felipe Pires saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Lauro do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgílio Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lauro do Vale to strike the kick off in the second half. José Paulo Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Carioca having to interfere. Rodriguinho Valadares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Gustavo Carioca made a huge save. After some careless play in the Dark Dragons defense, Virgílio Albuquerque kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felipe Pires. The Dark Dragons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felipe Pires should have stopped the shot. Gustavo Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laerte Almeida in the 60th minute of the match. After 63 played minutes Tamboral got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Bastos. Lauro do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tamboral fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dark Dragons had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
