Spectators: 7652 (Terracing: 5741, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) Goianésia E.C's Norbert Balonek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Guerra in the 7th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Natingui FC got a freekick which was hit by José Branco. Yan Secco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alisson Taffarel having to make a save. 15 minutes into the match, Goianésia E.C's goal looked a bit too open when José Branco came free, but Norbert Balonek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Goianésia E.C's Jaime Ferraz got a free kick in the 16th minute. Norbert Balonek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliseu Guerra's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Eliseu Guerra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Norbert Balonek skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 21 minutes, José Branco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Natingui FC and the Goianésia E.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Natingui FC got a freekick which was hit by José Branco. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseu Guerra in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norbert Balonek saved Goianésia E.C from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Natingui FC's Eliseu Guerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norbert Balonek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eliseu Guerra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Norbert Balonek came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliseu Guerra slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, Natingui FC's Eliseu Guerra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Norbert Balonek. Norbert Balonek yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Eliseu Guerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norbert Balonek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. When Eliseu Guerra came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Natingui FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseu Guerra couldn't finish the play. Norbert Balonek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Goianésia E.C's goalkeeper Norbert Balonek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Goianésia E.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jean Peixoto was slow to take the kick. During this time Natingui FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jean Peixoto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Norbert Balonek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Eliseu Guerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norbert Balonek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliseu Guerra to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Eliseu Guerra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Norbert Balonek. Goianésia E.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseu Guerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Norbert Balonek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Guerra in the 56th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Eliseu Guerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Natingui FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After a rather tough play, Goianésia E.C's Leopoldo Brodel got a free kick in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Goianésia E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Guerra came free, but Norbert Balonek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseu Guerra took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norbert Balonek. Norbert Balonek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Goianésia E.C's zone, Eliseu Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Balonek came out of the goal and Eliseu Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norbert Balonek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Guerra in the 75th minute of play. Natingui FC's Luisinho Cordeiro was substituted for Eliseu Guerra. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Goianésia E.C's goalie and right to Gustavo de Queiroz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Goianésia E.C's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Branco in the 80th minute of play forced Goianésia E.C's goalkeeper Norbert Balonek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 minutes Goianésia E.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jean Peixoto who took care of the corner kick. José Branco was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Natingui FC's Elivélton Abreu was substituted for Gustavo Paraíba. Luisinho Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Norbert Balonek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 minutes of play, Natingui FC's Luisinho Cordeiro made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norbert Balonek was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th minute José Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Balonek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Jean Peixoto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Goianésia E.C's Norbert Balonek did a great save. If Luisinho Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th minute Luisinho Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Balonek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natingui FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Goianésia E.C for a fine match.
