Diego Braga was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jaime Ferraz. After a rather tough play, Albano's Carlos Augusto de Barros got a free kick in the 11th minute. Yan Secco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Diego Braga came out and tried to block the shot, but Yan Secco slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. A collision led to Goianésia E.C getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Renatinho Linares hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Goianésia E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Augusto de Barros came free, but Norbert Balonek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Albano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clóvis de Sena to maneuver through the defense. If Raphael Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Albano's goalkeeper Diego Braga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Augusto de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Secco in the 32nd minute of play forced Albano's goalkeeper Diego Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albano's Diego Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Secco in the 45th minute of play. Norbert Balonek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Yan Secco made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Simões during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Leonardo Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serginho Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Goianésia E.C's Geovani Donatello in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Diego Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Donatello in the 69th minute of play. Rogério Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th match minute, Goianésia E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Augusto de Barros in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norbert Balonek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diego Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Secco in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Albano's zone, Yan Secco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Braga came out of the goal and Yan Secco tried to chip the ball over his head. The Goianésia E.C fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Goianésia E.C's Yan Secco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Goianésia E.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Albano for a fine match.
