Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Válbson Saldanha took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th minute, Jonas Fantini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cássio Rossi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Eliseu Guerra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cássio Rossi. Betim MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseu Guerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 15 minutes of play, Natingui FC's Eliseu Guerra made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cássio Rossi was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Guerra in the 18th minute of play forced Betim MZC's goalkeeper Cássio Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Paulo Porto was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Eliseu Guerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cássio Rossi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 26th minute, Eliseu Guerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Natingui FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 31st minute, Betim MZC's Edgard Simões dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. After a defensive mix-up in Betim MZC's zone, Eliseu Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio Rossi came out of the goal and Eliseu Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseu Guerra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cássio Rossi having to make a save. Cássio Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Guerra in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Eliseu Guerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Cássio Rossi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Betim MZC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Natingui FC were winning 1-7.

Natingui FC made a substitution. Cláudio Lucas replaced Olavo Catarinense. The wind increased when Eliseu Guerra made the kick off in the second half. Eliseu Guerra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Cássio Rossi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 55 minutes, Eliseu Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Natingui FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseu Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliseu Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 61st minute, Edgard Simões left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Betim MZC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-7. 63 minutes into the match, Betim MZC's goalkeeper Cássio Rossi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseu Guerra. If Jonas Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cássio Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Guerra in the 68th minute of the match. Eliseu Guerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cássio Rossi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Eliseu Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliseu Guerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cássio Rossi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Felippe Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elivélton Abreu during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Betim MZC booed when Natingui FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivélton Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cláudio Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Natingui FC's Eliseu Guerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cássio Rossi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-8. Natingui FC's Osmar Arruda got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Natingui FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Betim MZC throughout the match.
