Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nildo Brodel started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Murilo de Mendonça sped through Rocheira's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hernani Tasso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo de Mendonça in the 6th minute of play forced Rocheira's goalkeeper Hernani Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernani Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pedro Brasil in the 8th minute of the match. Agostinho Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Rocheira's Hernani Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo de Mendonça in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Murilo de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match, Agostinho Chaves tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leopoldo Vallejos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 18th minute, Agostinho Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Murilo de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 26 minutes, José Pedro Brasil made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Rocheira's Hernani Tasso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hernani Tasso didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when PALMEIRAS FC's Murilo de Mendonça shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Rocheira's Hernani Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo de Mendonça in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Chaves in the 39th minute of play forced PALMEIRAS FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Vallejos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murilo de Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murilo de Mendonça in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernani Tasso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Murilo de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Pedro Brasil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fernandinho de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Leopoldo Vallejos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Dráusio da Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rocheira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PALMEIRAS FC the free kick. Murilo de Mendonça walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 56 minutes into the game, PALMEIRAS FC's Murilo de Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hernani Tasso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Pedro Brasil in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernani Tasso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Murilo de Mendonça got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Hernani Tasso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Pedro Brasil's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Rocheira's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Brasil came free, but Hernani Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Murilo de Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. PALMEIRAS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Murilo de Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernani Tasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, José Pedro Brasil took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Hernani Tasso to make any attempt to save it. Murilo de Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hernani Tasso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. If José Pedro Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murilo de Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luan Gerber lost his temper 84 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When the match had been going on for 87 minutes, PALMEIRAS FC's Murilo de Mendonça got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hernani Tasso. In the 90th minute, Rocheira's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Murilo de Mendonça fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Murilo de Mendonça in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hernani Tasso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Rocheira getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Agostinho Chaves hit a great ball. PALMEIRAS FC's Leopoldo Vallejos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandinho de Barros in the 96th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rocheira's zone, Murilo de Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernani Tasso came out of the goal and Murilo de Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 99thth minute of the game José Pedro Brasil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rocheira's Hernani Tasso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Rocheira fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PALMEIRAS FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
