Dito de Salles hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Tamboral's goal looked a bit too open when Gordon Kenneth came free, but Gustavo Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gordon Kenneth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Carioca was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Gustavo Carioca was a little too slow when Gordon Kenneth got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 4-0. Jonas Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordon Kenneth in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
