Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ultimate Futebol Clube's Amílton Severo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Vicente Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Gaviaozinho FC booed when Ultimate Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jefferson Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Sanches made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Bernardinho Vale sent off a good shot on target. Olavo Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th minute there was a penalty for Ultimate Futebol Clube. Jefferson Fontes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Juan Sanches. 1-0. If William Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Chiquinho Seco came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Gaviaozinho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chiquinho Seco couldn't finish the play. Chiquinho Seco struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Léo Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaviaozinho FC. 27 minutes into the match, Vicente Bittencourt notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Gaviaozinho FC's Juan Sanches. Juan Sanches was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st minute of the match, Amílton Severo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Juan Sanches saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 34th match minute, Ultimate Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Veloso to maneuver through the defense. Ultimate Futebol Clube's Amílton Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. William Andrade struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Léo Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaviaozinho FC. If William Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Chiquinho Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chiquinho Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Bittencourt in the 51st minute of play forced Gaviaozinho FC's goalkeeper Juan Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the game, William Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Léo Aguiar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Léo Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquinho Seco in the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ultimate Futebol Clube's zone, Chiquinho Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Léo Aguiar came out of the goal and Chiquinho Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vicente Bittencourt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Sanches read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute Olavo Cruz suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. 66 minutes into the game, Cléberson Guimarães was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gaviaozinho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ultimate Futebol Clube the free kick. Cléberson Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Vicente Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Sanches having to interfere. William Andrade who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Léo Aguiar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chiquinho Seco in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Léo Aguiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 83 played minutes Ultimate Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Jean Penha. Vicente Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Sanches having to interfere. Gaviaozinho FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Ultimate Futebol Clube had won, even though Gaviaozinho FC had held more of the ball.
