Diogo de Moraes made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Amílton Severo sent off a good shot on target. Léo Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iuri Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Vicente Bittencourt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olavo Cruz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Vicente Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diogo de Moraes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vicente Bittencourt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 43 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amílton Severo in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diogo de Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogério da Mata made a kick off. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Amílton Severo sped through Sou Vasco Animal FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Diogo de Moraes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogério da Mata in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Léo Aguiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 60 minutes into the game, Iuri Albuquerque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sou Vasco Animal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ultimate Futebol Clube the free kick. A collision led to Sou Vasco Animal FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Iuri Albuquerque hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Olavo Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Léo Aguiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iuri Albuquerque in the 64th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rogério da Mata during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ultimate Futebol Clube booed when Sou Vasco Animal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amílton Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Alberto Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diogo de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Bittencourt in the 85th minute of play. Vicente Bittencourt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sou Vasco Animal FC's Diogo de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílton Severo in the 90th minute of play. Diogo de Moraes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Bittencourt went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, João Carlos Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ultimate Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but João Carlos Veloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diogo de Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ultimate Futebol Clube's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
