With an all-out effort, Gaviaozinho FC's Isaltino Rossi threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Chiquinho Seco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 84 minutes into the match, Gaviaozinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor Bueno came free, but Juan Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gaviaozinho FC's zone, Chiquinho Marinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Sanches came out of the goal and Chiquinho Marinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
