After a rather tough play, Lokomotiv Fc's Téo Batista got a free kick in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the game, one of Carbonita:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 13 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Elder Souto came free, but Walmir Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lokomotiv Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jefferson da Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Lokomotiv Fc booed when Carbonita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jefferson da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Carbonita's goalkeeper Hermínio Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jailson Barral. Lokomotiv Fc's Walmir Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Motta in the 25th minute of play. Hermínio Machado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jailson Barral went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the game, Elder Souto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Walmir Reis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tiaguinho Gaúcho hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the game, Jailson Barral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Hermínio Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lokomotiv Fc's Walmir Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson da Cunha in the 45th minute of play. The wind increased when Célio Motta made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Carbonita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serginho Melo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 53 minutes, Vitinho Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lokomotiv Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitinho Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jefferson da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jefferson da Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Carbonita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jefferson da Cunha couldn't finish the play. After 58 played minutes Lokomotiv Fc got a freekick which was hit by Vitinho Dantas. In the 59th match minute, Carbonita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Carbonita's Jefferson da Cunha managed to work through Lokomotiv Fc's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jefferson da Cunha dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Walmir Reis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gugu Mendonça in the 68th minute. Elder Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Walmir Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Carbonita got a freekick which was hit by Elder Souto. The supporters of Carbonita booed when Lokomotiv Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. The Carbonita players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Lokomotiv Fc from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
