Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elder Luz in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaltino Rossi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute João Vítor Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes, Víktor Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.E. Cachoeirinha and the Chateaubriand players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Betão de Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chiquinho Marinho. José Carlos de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão de Amaral having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, Otávio Arce cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Chateaubriand's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elivélton Meireles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Luiz Fabiano Prata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaltino Rossi was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 70 minutes into the match, Otávio Arce notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Chateaubriand's Isaltino Rossi. Isaltino Rossi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. Cachoeirinha's zone, Elivélton Meireles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betão de Amaral came out of the goal and Elivélton Meireles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute, Zé Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Betão de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Vítor Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, S.E. Isaltino Rossi came out of the goal and Otávio Arce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 92 minutes, Chiquinho Marinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chateaubriand and the S.E. Cachoeirinha players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Chateaubriand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho Marinho to maneuver through the defense. S.E. Cachoeirinha's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
